Keep ya' hands to yo'self!

Good Morning Love,

I recognize that there is a lot of foolishness going on throughout the Body of Christ.
It angers my spirit to know that the church is being made fun of though I can understand why. I see, I pray, and I keep it moving. I understand that it starts with me. I can guard my spirit and following God's Word the best that I can. I can be who I want to see in the body of Christ.

Needless to say, I don't entertain foolishness. Please don't come at me with fake prophecies and off the wall Words from God. Oh and please, what ever you do...Do not come over to me trying to lay hands on me. Keep ya' hands to yo'self please!

Now don't get me wrong, I am not saying that I do not believe in the laying of the hands because I do.
God has used my vessel many times to lay hands. What I am suggesting is that you know who you are dealing with.  If God has put it on your heart to lay hands on me or to give me a word surely he has already touched my heart to receive you. I am not in any way trying to be mean, this is a serious and personal concern for me. I have been used, abused, and misused in the church and by those who say, "God has called them." I had to learn the hard way that not everyone who come in the name of Jesus Christ, is who they say they are. As a Christian, it is our responsibility to protect our spirit.

1 John 4:1 NIV- Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world.

I have seen prestige men and women of God trade God's anointing for money, for power, and for worldly glory.  These same men and women are the ones advising us! It is our responsibilities to protect and guard our spirits. We have to be so sensitive to the spirit that we know right away whose who. The 'show off' spirit' is very much active today as it was back then.

Acts 8:9-11 NLT- A man named Simon had been a sorcerer there for many years, amazing the people of Samaria and claiming to be someone great. 10 Everyone, from the least to the greatest, often spoke of him as “the Great One—the Power of God.” 11 They listened closely to him because for a long time he had astounded them with his magic.

You have to be mindful of letting people lay hands on you, pray over you, and speak into your life.
Don't be fooled by all the action that may be going on. I never read anywhere in the bible where the apostles were jumping up and down, sweating profusely, asking for money, and prophesying cars.
I am not saying that people who do this are not of God. I am suggesting to you that the 'show off spirit' is alive and active and if we are not careful it can and will attach to us.

I remember how I use to get all excited when the anointing of God was upon me and I knew it was time for me to be used in the body. Somewhere down the line I begin to do what I had seen, thinking I was doing God's business. My emotions were tangled up with my excitement which led to me doing...my own thing. It felt good being used by God (so I thought).  It felt good having people look up to me. It felt good to hold a title in the church. Wowwwwww I was 'chosen'. My words mixed with God's words. Back then, I really thought I was doing something. The only thing I was doing was showing off and for who? Not God.

Back to Acts: But now the people believed Philip’s message of Good News concerning the Kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ. As a result, many men and women were baptized. 13 Then Simon himself believed and was baptized. He began following Philip wherever he went, and he was amazed by the signs and great miracles Philip performed.
14 When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that the people of Samaria had accepted God’s message, they sent Peter and John there. 15 As soon as they arrived, they prayed for these new believers to receive the Holy Spirit. 16 The Holy Spirit had not yet come upon any of them, for they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 17 Then Peter and John laid their hands upon these believers, and they received the Holy Spirit.18 When Simon saw that the Spirit was given when the apostles laid their hands on people, he offered them money to buy this power. 19 “Let me have this power, too,” he exclaimed, “so that when I lay my hands on people, they will receive the Holy Spirit!”

Peter basically rebuked Simon and he repented.  I don't think Simon was evil-I think his past life, being a new believer and him remembering that feeling of having people adore him, made him a little too excited causing him to want to take a short cut.

I personally thank God for deliverance! Today I practice self-control (which is a fruit of the spirit). It is an honor to show others God's power just by the way I live. Believe me when I say I have done my share of repenting in that area! I am very sensitive when I talk to anyone about God's Word and the things of God. I don't take his anointing lightly nor do I take it for granted. I can be who I want to see in the body of Christ. I have a right to be mindful about who I let pour into my spirit and so do you.

Guard your spirit. Keep a watch on those that you following. Some may not mean harm and could just be out of season (like I was).  Either way why play around with the anointing when you can have and experience the real thing.

Intensive Care Unit

Good Morning Love,

I am still eating from yesterday's message.  There were so many good nuggets.  If you didn't get a chance to read it, I encourage you to do so. This morning I want to talk about one of the nuggets from yesterday regarding short cuts.

We have become a people who like things NOW. I too, am included. Why wait two hours for something to cook when I can pop something in the microwave that can be done in 5 mins! Why would I take the long route if there is a shorter route? Duh!

Shortcuts are always short-sighted. They distract you from getting where you need to go and from what God wants you to do in your life.

Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV- But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulnessgentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

God will often put you in situations so that you can become mature in your faith.  God knows when you take the short cut chances are you will miss out on the opportunity to walk in the fruits of the spirit.
Longsuffering says: "For God I live for God I die!"
Faithfulness says: "He is able!"
Self Control says: ""Get back demon!"

Premature
I know this sound all sweet and everything but, when the fire is turned up sometimes it's just too hard to press. You just can't endure anymore. You've done the best you could and now you're just ready for it to be OVER! I know, I get it. Look at the pictures.  Statistics show that when a baby is born prematurely they most likely are too small to go home. Instead, they face weeks or even months in the newborn intensive care unit (NICU). These babies face an increased risk of serious medical complications and sometimes death! With proper medical assistance they can go home.

              Mature
Let's look at Sarah, who decided to take a short cut.

God promised Sarah that she would have a baby. At 80-years-old, she made up her mind that God was taking too long. She decided to take a shortcut. She told Abraham (her husband) to get her maid pregnant. She had things all planned out. She was going to build her family through her slave. So she gave her slave Hagar to her husband, to be his wife. (SHORT CUTS WILL MAKE YOU LOSE FOCUS. IT'LL HAVE YOU DOING FOOLISH THINGS) When Hagar got pregnant she started feeling some sort of way about Sarah. Sarah begins to blame her husband for their beef. (SHORT CUTS WILL STIR UP PROBLEMS IN YOUR RELATIONSHIPS) At this point, these two women are at war. Sarah mistreats Hagar and Hagar despise Sarah. Bottom line is, God did give Sarah her own baby. However, her short cut caused problems that lasted for generations. (Genesis 16). (SHORT CUTS USUALLY LEAD TO MORE PROBLEMS IN THE END)

What about Jesus? He too was tempted to take a short cut.

The devil told Jesus to jump from the top of the temple and, when the angels caught him, it would prove to everyone he was the Son of God. He said all would worship him. (SHORT CUTS USUALLY LEAD TO YOU GETTING GLORY NOT GOD) Jesus did not get sidetracked, he followed God's plan. The devil tried to trip him up to stop his purpose. Jesus was meant to die on the cross, not jump off a temple. God's plan was that Jesus would be glorified through suffering, not through showing off.

To reach your dreams and goals and to be who God has called you to be means you cannot cut corners. When you take short cuts what you are saying to God is, "I don't trust your plans for my life. I need to do things my way because my plans are better."

Coming out of God's test prematurely means taking the risk of losing it all.

Right now I am experiencing a mighty trial; a test.  I know that after this season is done, my life will be changed.  I will step into who I am called to be, my destiny. I have been in this season for what seems like forever! Some days I get through easy and some days I barely make it. But at the end of the day, I have come too far. I cannot afford to produce a premature destiny. I do not want to face or risk complications. I do not want to have my future, my goals, my dreams in the Intensive Care Unit hoping to survive. As long as God continues to give me strength, I will not take the short cut.  When this test is over, I will step into my destiny healthy and fully mature giving God ALL the glory.

Short cuts steal the victories that God has prepared for you.

James 1:4 NIV- Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

God wants to give you steak but you rather chicken wings

Good Morning Love,

"How can you step into your present when you won't release your past?

This new month of the new year is coming to an end and you had such high hopes for this great new beginning.  But now, as we get ready to enter into a new month, you are back to feeling bummed.  Things are still the same, nothing is changing, the same problems plus more is on your plate, the same ol, same ol.

Let me paint this picture for you. Imagine this: God calls you by name. You hear him loud and clear. You are so excited that he has called you. You stop what you are doing to hear what thus sayth the Lord.  The Lord says, "I want to do a new thing in your life. This will be the year of the impossible for my people." You are excited beyond control. He continues by saying, "I want you to pack a back pack and I want you to meet me on top of Peak Mountain. There on top of the mountain, I will be waiting. I will change your life. I will hand you your destiny." You can't even believe this word that God has spoken to you. You've been waiting so long for a breakthrough for a new beginning. You pack your bag, put on hiking gear and off you go! Just as you are about to leave, you think to yourself, I need to call someone to tell them what just happened.  You pick up the phone and call your best friend because they just have to know what God has said.  While you are on the phone with your friend they ask you what you will pack.  You tell them, "just the things I need."  but your friend gives you suggestions of what you may really need. About 2 hours past and you race back into your room to pack some more things.  Just as you are about to leave you have this great idea to encourage others.  You decide to post what's going on, on your facebook page.  Another hour has gone by.  You have mixed feeling about where your going. According to your friends on facebook, Peak Mountain is far.  There are steep hills and wild animals along the trail. Why in the world would God tell you to meet him there! Are you sure you heard God? That could be the Devil! You may need to pack this...After repacking, you decide it's time to go.  You are nervous now, even a little frighten. But you really want this new beginning. So much time has passed and it'll be night soon, you remembered a short cut to the trail.  Though you are not 100 % certain of this shortcut, you think to yourself that you'll figure it out on the way. Off you go! On the shortcut, you see an old friend. You've been trying so hard to live right, keep yourself pure and you had cut that person off months ago to protect your purity. The friend comes over to you and ask where you are going. You feel like you may need to just wave and run pass but, it's been months- a little talk won't do any harm. So you let the friend walk with you. You tell yourself,"just half way." Besides, you can use the company because it's a lonely walk and you need help to carry the overstuffed bag. So you continue on.  During the hike your friend suggest that you need to remove some items from your bag, it's just too heavy. He/She toss out your bible, a cross key chain, and a mp3 player filled with worship and praise music. He/She explains why you don't need those items and now the bag is lighter.  You guys continue on the walk and there is some hanky panky that goes on. A little touching here and there. A couple kisses, first on the cheek, then on the neck, and now some intimate ones on the mouth. After playing the 'you feel mines, I feel yours' game you decide to bring up y'all getting back together. He/She is hesitant and tell you that their involved with someone else.  You feel foolish. You gather your items and continue the walk alone. You are walking for quite some time now and your vision is blurry from the tears rolling down your face. You just want to get there already. You are frustrated and you are tired. You dig in your bag for your anointing oil. You plan to repent, pray to God, and anoint yourself. You are feeling so condemned. You notice it's not in your bag! You then remember that one of your friends told you, you wouldn't need that. So you decide against the prayer and you just want to reach the top immediately.  It's getting cold out and again in your bag you go but, there is no jacket. You sit and think to yourself because you remember packing a jacket. Surely you knew that you would need a jacket! Then it hits you, you packed a nice offit to wear instead so you could look perfect in front of God. Momma suggested that. You are steady going up a hill that has every muscle in your body aching. You see the top but it seems like you will never make it.  Your bag is so heavy filled with a bunch of junk that you don't even need. You packed a bunch of items from your past because you felt you would need them for your future.  It is so late now, you are wondering if God is still there.  You are pressing forward on 'E'.  You were not able to refuel yourself after the incident, because your bible, and your worship music was no longer available. You don't want to call a friend because you are too embarrassed. You try to pray, and ask God for help to make it up the hill but, you fill so bad for what you done earlier. You are getting closer but it just doesn't seem like it. You are drained. You start to remember what friends said earlier about maybe it not being God who told you to go to the mountain in the first place.  You say to yourself, "It must not be God because why would God allow me to see so & so, he knew I was weak in that area. And why would God? Why would God? Why would God?" "Forget it! This is just too much and God will not give me more than I can bare." You hear a gentle whisper, "You can make it. I am still waiting. Just empty your bag and continue on. I am with you always even to the very end." You know that voice. It sound so sweet. You look in your bag and can't think of tossing anything you packed. I mean it's stuff you purchased with hard earned money, stuff that was given to you as gifts, stuff you will definitely need. You already tossed things out earlier, which you later needed. Can't let that happen again. You regain strength, you know that you can make it. God said he's with you until the very end! You are back on your feet, pressing to the top...gotta get that new beginning. You never do make it.

Sound familiar? So many lessons to learn from this made up story.

1)When God tells you to do something...DO IT (Proverbs 13:13- He who scorns instruction will pay for it, but he who respects a command is rewarded.)
2)You don't have to tell everyone what God is saying to you.  Keep your mouth closed. God wants to know that he can trust you with information.  He also knows how easy it is for the enemy to get in your ear. Remember Eve? (Gen.3:1-3-Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?”)
3)Not every friend is good for you! It's time to surround yourself with Godly friends. People who can pray instead of suggest. Individuals who flow with the Holy Ghost and not instincts. (Proverbs: 27:17 MSG- You use steel to sharpen steel, and one friend sharpens another.)
4)Quit putting your life on Facebook! Some things are just not meant to be shared. Everyone will not be able to understand what God is doing in your life but you bet, they will always have something to say. Be aware of the spirit of distraction. That spirit is always trying to trip you up. (1 John 4:11-Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God)
5)Shorts cuts are dangerous! (James 1:4 MSG- So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.)
6)Don't invite others on the road that God has told you to walk. Everyone is not heading, where you are heading. (Matthew 7:14-But the gatew

God, I need your attention!

Good Morning Love,

This weekend my spirit started to feel weary.  I kept trying to press but with my own personal things going on, family issues, and concerns for others in the body of Christ, I became tired.  I so badly want the shift to occur for God's people.  However, it is not about what I want. It is about the will of God and we all know from experience that he is always on time.

2 Cor. 5:7 NLT: For we live by believing and not by seeing.

Sometimes walking by faith can be so difficult when it seems like your life is in shambles. Sometimes we get so tired of doing the right things, especially when it appears things are getting worse. You get tired of church. You become tired of prayer and fasting. You are tired of reading the Word. How can I continue to try to do right when everything keeps going wrong? You get to that point where you just can't do it anymore. Stress has taken over peace.

I understand Saints of God. I understand. Sometimes I too, just want to give up. Sometimes I too just feel like I can't endure another day of walking by faith because guess what I have sight and things are just not looking good!

But, I cannot give up. Where would I go? What will I do? Living by faith will be a lot easier for me than living in the world.  The world takes care of its own. God takes care of me. So where does that leave me? I turn up my worship. I find a way through worship to reach the God I serve. I worship as if my life depended on it.

John 4:23 NLT: But the time is coming—indeed it’s here now—when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. The Father is looking for those who will worship him that way.

It is my belief saints, that God will have us go through seasons so tough, strongholds so strong, persecutions so rough, roads so lonely, and days so dark to pull out of us, a true worship.  A worship that changes the atmosphere. A worship of true dependence on him, the one who has created you. A worship that can only be prayed in the spirit because praying in the flesh just won't cut it. A worship from a person that is broken, that is drained, that is hurt, that is frustrated and maybe even confused. A heart broken worship from a servant that really need God's attention.

I encourage you to pull out your spiritual resumes.  Look back through the work history that you and God share.  Remember when you felt like giving up last time, and remember who changed everything for you.  Remember who loved you when no one else did.  Remember who made a way when there was no way.  Fall to your knees and lift your arms up to the one who has kept you. Remember his love, cry out your thank yous. Give him a true worship in spirit and in truth. Tell him that you are tired, tell him that you are ready to give up. Tell him what you need from him. Remind him of his word, speak of the covenant that he has made with you, and thank him for his love.

John 4:23-24 MSG: “It’s who you are and the way you live that count before God. Your worship must engage your spirit in the pursuit of truth. That’s the kind of people the Father is out looking for: those who are simply and honestly themselves before him in their worship. God is sheer being itself—Spirit. Those who worship him must do it out of their very being, their spirits, their true selves, in adoration.”

We have no secrets before God. Where you are in your walk does not surprise God.  Your sin is not shocking to God.  He knows all things. It's your being honest with him. Your calling out to him from the pit of your stomach. Removing your fancy titles and your expensive things and getting in his presence the way HE has created you to do so.

Worship him.

Spiritual Sissy

Good Morning Love,

"Stop acting like a spiritual sissy and command things in your life to change."

We have become a weak Body of Christ. We accept any ol thing. We accept debt, we accept people walking all over us, we accept that our children are wild, we accept that our family members are not saved, we accept when our neighbors talk negative about our God, we accept how our friends use & abuse our kindness, we accept that we were skipped over for promotions in our workplaces, we accept that half the congregation stop coming to church, we accept extra weight gain and hair loss, we accept that our community and land has become poor, we accept that there is never enough to take a vacation or do something nice with our families, we accept that our husbands/wives are having affairs, we accept the doctor's report that say we are ill, we accept the letter from the mortgage companies that says they will come take our homes, we accept lack, we accept minimum wage, we accept that we are too old to pursue our dreams, we accept that we won't ever get married, we accept that we cannot be ourselves to to join a particular group, we accept that we will never be out of debt or ever own a home, we accept unequally yoked relationships, we accept sex before marriage, we accept the "everyone else is doing it" spirit, we accept, we accept, and we accept.

When will we become a people that will get fed up of accepting the enemy's decrees and start relying on our relationship with the one who is really running things!

Matthew 28:18
Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me.

Saints, it is not a secret!

As the gas prices increase, use the authority that God has given you to command your finances to increase.

When the doctor's report come in, use the authority that God has given you to command your body to be healed by the Blood of Jesus Christ.

When the debtors call and threaten you for payment, walk in the authority that God has given you reminding yourself that you are the head and not the tail and that you were destined to lend and not to borrow!

When your home is out of order, use the authority that God has given you to command every spirit in your home to line up with the Word of God!

You have authority in Jesus Christ! Change the things in your life that you are not please with.  You do not have to accept the things the world dishes you. Greater is He that is in YOU than he that is in the world.

You have power!

Luke 9:1
1 When Jesus had called the Twelve together, he gave them power and authority to drive out all demons and to cure diseases

Mark 16:17
17 These miraculous signs will accompany those who believe: They will cast out demons in my name, and they will speak in new languages.18 They will be able to handle snakes with safety, and if they drink anything poisonous, it won’t hurt them. They will be able to place their hands on the sick, and they will be healed.”

James 5:16 Msg
The prayer of a person living right with God is something powerful to be reckoned with.

Luke 10:18-19
“I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. 19 I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.

Luke 10:17
“Lord, even the demons submit to us in your name.”

Start exercising your authority in Christ! Watch your situations change when you command demons to recognize that Jesus Christ is Lord of your Life.

Duet. 28:13 NEV
And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail, and you shall only go up and not down.

Me, a sinner?YIKES!

Good Morning Love,

If you could see me now it would not be a pretty sight.  Red swollen eyes, snot nasal drip...not diva like at all.  This morning during my worshipping God, the Holy Spirit led me to this scripture:

Isaiah 59:9-12 NLT- So there is no justice among us, and we know nothing about right living. We look for light but find only darkness. We look for bright skies but walk in gloom.10 We grope like the blind along a wall, feeling our way like people without eyes. Even at brightest noontime, we stumble as though it were dark. Among the living, we are like the dead.11 We growl like hungry bears; we moan like mournful doves. We look for justice, but it never comes. We look for rescue, but it is far away from us.12 For our sins are piled up before God and testify against us.

So at this point, I'm like, "Say Whaaa? Surely this can't be for me.  It must be for his people. Do you want me to send this out as today's Word Lord?" And then the Holy Spirit unctioned me to pray in the spirit. And as I prayed the tears just begin to flow. Then I found myself repenting. I began to repent for the words of death that I had spoken over so many. The Lord begin to bring to my remembrance some of the words that I had spoke out of anger, hurt, pain, sadness, disbelief, jokingly, fear, and from gossip. Stuff from yesterday and stuff from years ago. I could not believe some of the things that has come from my mouth. It made me sad and even as I am typing this I am moved to tears because I know that I was created to encourage and to lead others to the cross. To know that I have torn down and made the cross look like a joke, saddens my heart. Joyce Myers had once said something that I carry in my heart always.  She said, "For as many people that you speak life into (if you are not careful) you can also take life from." I always try to be mindful of that yet somewhere down the line I missed the mark. We all know the scripture in Proverbs 18:21 Msg-Words kill, words give life; they’re either poison or fruit—you choose. Obviously I choose fruit.  You see this is the thing that really got me. Did you notice that I underlined the last sentence in Isaiah 59. For our sins are piled up before God and they testify against us! That's crazy. Just like you, I am human. I mess up everyday.  I need his blood, his grace, and yes his mercy every single day. What the Lord showed me was, it was like I was getting away.  Let's say I had an argument in which I was heated and I said something negative about the other person's character. During a heated session, I may not have thought to repent or denounce what I just spoke. Or how about this, I'm talking to someone who may not have the revelation about God the way I do, and they tell a worldly joke (with cussing) and I get my laugh on. God clearly knows that the joke teller just does not have the revelation of corrupt talk but he looks at me and says..."She knows better." So what happened is years of serving God, years of trying to live a righteous life, years of giving, none of that stuff changes the fact that throughout the course of my life those non fruit bearing words that I had spoken, that I never asked for forgiveness for, has piled up against me and now when I go into God's presence I'm covered in sin. My God.Yes, I am shaking my head. God does not rebuke us to make us feel lousy about ourselves. He rebukes us so that we can learn, grow, and become better people.
Isaiah 59:1-2 NLT-Listen! The Lord’s arm is not too weak to save you, nor is his ear too deaf to hear you call.2 It’s your sins that have cut you off from God. Because of your sins, he has turned away and will not listen anymore.

I thank God for the opportunity to get it right. I can't speak for anyone other than me but, I NEED HIM TO LISTEN TO ME when I pray, when I worship, when I remind him that I love him.  I encourage you to use my example to search your own hearts and make sure your sin/sins are not testifying to God. It's okay to realize that you may have fallen short of his Glory, it offers the opportunity to RISE with Christ. None of us is without fault-cut and dry. The thing that God may have given you a get out of jail free card last time, may not be available this go round. Turn from sin, repent, and accept his forgiveness to move forward.  There is good news found at the end Isaiah 59-“The Redeemer will come to Jerusalem to buy back those in Israel who have turned from their sins,”says the Lord.

Isaiah 58 :8-9 NLT:“Then your salvation will come like the dawn, and your wounds will quickly heal. Your godliness will lead you forward, and the glory of the Lord will protect you from behind.
9 Then when you call, the Lord will answer.‘Yes, I am here,’ he will quickly reply.

I just love God.

Enjoy your day.

Gates of Hell shall not prevail!

Good Morning Love,

Can I share something extra personal with you today? You know that I've been on this kick with this Word that the Lord gave me regarding 2013 being the year of the impossible for his people.  Every time I think of it I am blessed all over by it because like you, I want to see the impossible for so many of God's children! I know things have been tough. Hopes for the New Year has died down, problems are back. Things still looking the same. I understand how it can get. I feel like I've been in the wilderness for 40 years myself. It gets tough sometimes trying to press my way, trying to keep the faith when everyday it is something else. For the last 3 years, I have been in a season of testing and the season hasn't ended yet. The only way I can describe it is as this: It was beautiful clear sunny skies, everything was pretty much perfect. Then dark clouds begin to form. Didn't think too much of it, just dressed for the weather. Those grey clouds stayed around for quite some time so I got use to them. After weeks of mild breeze came gusty strong winds. I could feel the shift ,the change in temperature but I still managed. Then one day, out of nowhere there was a terrible storm. A tornado came and swept everything I had know as life. I managed to survive but my whole household, my life was out of order. Nothing was in place. There were plenty of empty days and hopeless nights of trying to put the rubbish of my life back to the way it was before, but I just couldn't do it. I did not have the strength to do so. I was in so much pain. So confused. Why would God allow this tornado to strip me of everything? I would call out to God day and night...never heard from him. It was when I got tired of living in debris that I begin to stop asking why and started asking for help. I remembered when the skies were beautiful and sunny, I didn't need his help that much; everything was cool. I had things under control. I hoped that he didn't forget my voice. Nevertheless, when I called on his name he answered. I could hear him clearly now because there was nothing but empty space between us. All my stuff  had been destroyed. I am currently in a process of rebuilding. This time, I will be sure to use the blueprint that He has given me. I have never been good at reading blueprints but with God's help I am getting it; understanding. I am taking things slow. I am no longer trying to put things back to the way they were. I am moving forward according to the Master Builder's plan. Soon my life will be restored. The structure that we have created this time will stand against any storm, tornado, or hurricane! My new home sits on a hill. I keep the porch light on both day and night to let the world know, I made it.  Listen, if I can do it so can you! Join me in believing that the impossible will happen for God's people. We will be the head and not the tail. It will be so, if it were not going to be so he would not have said it. I join hands with you in the spirit, We WILL be the light of the world.

Matthew 5:14&16 NLT: You are the light of the world-like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.

Matthew 16:18 ESV: And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

I pray for your strength.
We don't run, we don't hide, with JESUS we stand.

You Hatin' (Poem)

Good Morning Love,

Just to switch it up a bit, I decided to try something different, something that I've never done before...
I recorded myself reciting this poem I wrote titled, You Hatin'. I had to create a video to upload it so please bare with me. Either way, I pray that you are encouraged to continue moving forward with the instructions that God has given you and to not be so concerned with what everyone else expects you to do. (P.S. No, I am not a rapper! lol)

You Hatin’ Written by: Baya Lopez

I see you hatin it cool you wanna be like be
Blessed, on course, flowing into my destiny

I see you smirking that’s aight, you do what you do
When the spirit of truth comes he’ll guide you too

I know you talking mmmhmm, so that’s what I hear
I gave an account for my ways now I live without fear

I hear you scheming yup, saying things ‘bout to go down
This war has already begun let me give you the rundown:

What does evil and light have in common nothing at all
Though I try to do right you steady trying to make me fall
Wickedness and darkness, in high places
Deceivers, non believers, running in our races
Though I walk in the flesh, I don’t war according to the flesh
Fight six days of the week but on the seventh day I find rest
For the weapons of my warfare are not carnal but mighty in God
For the pulling down of strongholds I suggest you run and hide
According to the prophecies you’re in the wrong fight
I specialize in bringing every demon to the obedience of Christ
Lest I seem terrified don’t judge my outward appearance
I rejoice in suffering - delight in perseverance
Suffer hardships with G–O-D; I’m a solider of Jesus Christ
Envy, hatred, plots of conspiracy- What other man you know laid down his life
The flesh can’t beat the blood so why even try
Lift my sword of the Spirit- slice and dice you like pie
My beef is not with you though I know who you work for
Don’t be confused with this pretty face I can get hard core
A defender of the cross that’s who I be
Spy out the land to infiltrate on the enemy
Steady running your mouth you like to hear yourself speak
While I’m possess all the earth inherited for the meek
No active soldier in service entangles himself- in the affairs of this life,
I’ll leave that to you and your crew those enlisted by the Antichrist
Blessed be the LORD, my rock, Who trains my hands for war,

Suited with every piece of God’s armor you’ve been exposed like a whore
Do you really want me to continue or shall I stop now

I can dish this all day, because this is how I get down
So concerned about my shine, my diamonds, my pearls
I’ll always be a step ahead of you.  I’m not confined to this world.

Keep Hatin.

"Twilight christians"

Good Morning Love,

Sometimes I feel uncomfortable saying, “I’m a Christian.”  The world has found a way to strip the power out of the word and meaning.  When asked, I am always hesitant because EVERYBODY is a Christian!  The world in its demonic force has made the word become ‘christian’ instead of ‘Christian.’

I thank God for a spirit of Revelation and not Religion, this morning.  I thank God that I dare to be different.  I thank God that I do not desire to be like everyone else and I have no problem saying that I am a defender of the Cross. “I follow Jesus Christ of Nazareth.”  That is what you may hear when asked of my religion.  I do not want anyone to take my walk with Christ as a joke.  For instance, you ever meet someone and you get to talking and in the conversation you state that you love God and that you are a Christian.  They reply, “Me too!”  Then five minutes later into the conversation, they dropped the f-bomb, the b-bomb, the s-bomb, and any other bombs you can think of.  You are standing there in shock, why I am not sure, I mean after all, they are a christian (lower case c).

There is one thing that the world can never take the power or meaning away from and that is his GLORY. Hallelujah.  GLORY.  Get that in your spirits this morning. GLORY is beside you.  You do not have to be concerned, you do not have to be scared, you do not have to wonder why, they will not over take you, you cannot be made a fool of, the debtors do not have anything on you, sin cannot control you, your mind can have peace, you do not have to settle for any joe smoe, you do not have to think negative about your future, you do not have to cover up why you love Jesus Christ, because GLORY is beside you!

It is time for the saints of God, the defenders of the cross, the followers of Jesus Christ of Nazareth to bring power back to the word Christian.  It is time for us to lead by example.  It is time for those around us to know that WE ARE about our Father's business!  I don’t know about you, but if there is anyone that is going to be embarrassed for saying that they are a Christian, it should not be me!  I walk with Glory!  Hallelujah. Why should I be embarrassed?  My God is the Father of the universe!  Why in the world should I down play my faithfulness to him! Ut ah, I do not think so!  I guarantee after speaking to me…when I get to talking about all he has done for me, when I get to sharing how he has kept darkness from over taking me, when I tell you that if it were not for him I would not have made it….My God! Glory is beside me!  That person will know that I am a true believer of Jesus Christ and they would have to examine their Christianity!  Not me!

It is time for you and I to be vessels that God can depend on.  He is NOT a JOKE.  HE WILL SHOW US HIS GLORY.

Exodus 14:1-4 MSG
God spoke to Moses: “Tell the Israelites to turn around and make camp at Pi Hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea. Camp on the shore of the sea opposite Baal Zephon.3-4 “Pharaoh will think, ‘The Israelites are lost; they’re confused.  The wilderness has closed in on them.’ Then I’ll make Pharaoh’s heart stubborn again and he’ll chase after them. And I’ll use Pharaoh and his army to put my Glory on display.  Then the Egyptians will realize that I am God.”

This morning during my quiet time, God reminded me that this is the year of the impossible for his people.  He deposited into my spirit- that he would use the world and all its wickedness to display his Glory!  What came to my spirit was a vision…have you ever seen the movies, 'The Underworld' or 'Twilight'?  Remember when the light would shine or the sun would shine the vampires or demons would burn up instantly.

Well Saints of God, the SON is about to shine and he will put his Glory on display. Those things that are not like God, those who mock God, those that criticize you, torment you…you seen the movie.  You know what will happen.

Don’t be mistaken for a twilight christian during that time.  You are a Christian (capitol C), a follower of Jesus Christ of Nazareth.  You hold on, keep doing what you are doing.  Continue to honor God and his commandments.  Through this scripture, I hear God saying, “Camp out between Peace and Faith River.  Stay in the pocket.  I do not care what you see or who you see.  I know the father of lies has been after you but you just stay put until I say so.  Pray and Worship only me.  When it feels like the world has you closed in, evil may come full force after you but you stay faithful.  I will put MY GLORY on display.  They will know that I AM THE ONLY GOD of your life and you are my follower.  You are a true Christian, a disciple of my son, Jesus Christ.”

Amen!!!

PROPHECY re: 2013

Good Morning Love,

I say this everyday. I think this every day. I remind others as well as myself every day. Every day since the Lord has spoke this Word to me...
"2013 will be the year of the impossible for my people."
I have become God's personal spokesperson for this word!

As you continue to stretch your faith, trusting and believing in God, I believe that this can be the year that you will move in areas that you could not move in before. You will have the courage to do what you felt you could not do before. This is the year that Faith will cast out all fear!
Allow God to mix his supernatural with your natural.
No longer should you sit on your talents and gifts. No longer should you keep your mouth closed about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. No longer do you have to sing the songs your ancestors sung, God has placed a new song for a new generation, in your belly. Let this be the year that you take those steps toward doing what God has created you to do. The resources are in place, connections are lined up, the light is green...NOW go! This is the Year of the Impossible! (Take me for example, I just started this blog and it has not been a full 2 weeks, yet almost 900 people has viewed this page! Not to mention, google stats show that people outside of the US are reading it! WOW! (Shout of to my international readers..."Heyyyyyy!) I mean that is impossible to me! How God just shifted my small email ministry to something world wide. Amazing.

Let me ask you a question, if you were driving and the light was red would you drive? No, you would wait until it turned green. Now vice versa, would you sit in front of a green light as if it were red? No. Saints of God...then don't do it spiritually. The light is green!
Aren't you tired of seeing the Body of Christ hurting? Eating old manna? Preaching old manna? Living old manna? Moving in the same direction as the world?
Why is it that, those not serving God seem to be the ones that are blessed? We as Christians like to play it safe. Safe has now become the new fear.
Hebrews 11 Msg
1-2The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It's our handle on what we can't see. The act of faith is what distinguished our ancestors, set them above the crowd. 3By faith, we see the world called into existence by God's word, what we see created by what we don't see.
29By an act of faith, Israel walked through the Red Sea on dry ground. The Egyptians tried it and drowned.
30By faith, the Israelites marched around the walls of Jericho for seven days, and the walls fell flat. 32-38 I could go on and on, but I've run out of time. There are so many more— Through acts of faith, they toppled kingdoms, made justice work, took the promises for themselves.
It's time for us to use this year as a platform and start showing this world what we are all about and who we represent! Please Saints, allow the Holy Spirit to stir up the "JESUS CHRIST anointing" that is inside of you.  It is the year of the impossible!
Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you
I don't know about you but, I am ready to MOVE mountains!
When a mountain is moved the earth has to shift to accomplish the move. Other mountains around it or attached to it will break off or crumble, deeply rooted pieces will uproot, rocks will fly everywhere, eruptions may occur! And, that is how it will be in both the natural and spiritual realm. People you hang with will be uprooted. Sin that you struggle with will crumble. Eruptions may occur!  The bottom line is: Nothing will be impossible for you -Jesus

"2013 the year of the impossible for my people!"

Go Get YOUR Blessings!

Good Morning Love,

God will set you high above all nations on earth…if you fully obey only him.

Duet. 28:1-14 NIV

1 If you fully obey the LORD your God and carefully follow all his commands I give you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations on earth. 2 All these blessings will come on you and accompany you if you obey the LORD your God:

3 You will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country.

4 The fruit of your womb will be blessed, and the crops of your land and the young of your livestock—the calves of your herds and the lambs of your flocks.

5 Your basket and your kneading trough will be blessed.

6 You will be blessed when you come in and blessed when you go out.

7 The LORD will grant that the enemies who rise up against you will be defeated before you. They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.

8 The LORD will send a blessing on your barns and on everything you put your hand to. The LORD your God will bless you in the land he is giving you.

9 The LORD will establish you as his holy people, as he promised you on oath, if you keep the commands of the LORD your God and walk in obedience to him. 10 Then all the peoples on earth will see that you are called by the name of the LORD, and they will fear you. 11 The LORD will grant you abundant prosperity—in the fruit of your womb, the young of your livestock and the crops of your ground—in the land he swore to your ancestors to give you.

12 The LORD will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none. 13 The LORD will make you the head, not the tail. If you pay attention to the commands of the LORD your God that I give you this day and carefully follow them, you will always be at the top, never at the bottom. 14 Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them. (Remember we spoke about this yesterday, anything you put before God can become a god in your life.)

Enjoy your day,

GOD, last on the list

Good Morning Love,

“Why do we wreck our brains trying to figure out the answers?”

There is always something to do!
  • somewhere we have to go
  • someone we need to see
  • question that has to be answered
  • a problem that need to be solved
  • a bill that has to be paid
  • a child who needs your attention
  • a demanding co-worker
  • a unreasonable manager
  • a friend that has to talk
  • a church depending on you to handle the yard sale
  • a sister or brother going through a life crisis
  • a school activity
  •  a car that need to be fixed
  • a basket of laundry and dishes in the sink
I think it is clear that YOU are in demand!  Nobody can do what you do quite the way you do it.  Hmmm, do not pat yourself on the back just yet...it is that very reason you tend to forget about God.
You may say, “God wants me to show love, to help, to do the best job that I can do.  He wants me to be there for my spouse and children, my family and friends, my parents and even my church.”

Ps. 149:4 NKJV
For the Lord takes pleasure in His people

You are right, but remember balance is the key.  God wants YOU!  Since we cannot necessarily see him; he is not directly in front of our faces demanding our time, demanding our love, and demanding our attention we tend to forget his need from us.  We put him last on our list.  Most of the time when we are ready to acknowledge him, it is the end of the day and we are just too tired to do so because we were so busy completing all the other things that came before him.

If I told you that you sometimes serve the money god, you would be mad with me.
If I told you that you sometimes serve the relationship god you would be mad with me.
If I told you that you sometimes serve the to do list god you would be mad with me.
If I told you that you sometimes serve the career god, you would be mad with me.

The truth is anything that you put before God can become a god in your life.

Exodus 20:3 NIV
3 “You shall have no other gods before  me.

God understands that life can be demanding.  The smarter people become the more complicated life becomes.  This originates from the very beginning.  Remember, God did not want Adam and Eve to eat from the apple tree in the garden.  Why was that?  God knew that once they did, they would be open to everything that would demand from them what God intended for them to have- that was, a peaceful life.

Gen. 3:7 NIV
7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they realized they were naked; so they sewed fig leaves together and made coverings for themselves.

As soon as they ate the apple, they would never enjoy God and his greatness in full again; there was work to do.

Duet. 6:5 NIV
5 Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.

No matter how demanding your life may be, it is up to you to GIVE GOD what he deserves.  YOU have to make it your business to put him first in all the things that you do.  Talk to him throughout your day. The time you spend with others can be managed properly when you are using that time to talk about God's goodness and his grace in your life.  Find a way to give him the glory with and in your day.  There will always be something to do.  Examine your personal to do list, allow something else other than God to be put off until tomorrow.

Exodus 20:5 CEV
5Don't bow down and worship idols. I am the LORD your God, and I demand all your love.

God is clear, he demands our love.  I cannot speak for you but when it comes to me, I know that he deserves my love. You just cannot go wrong putting God first!

Proverbs 16:3 NIV
Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and your plans will succeed.

Enjoy your day.
