Ahh Hello...God, are you there?

Hello Love,

I totally get it. I too know what it feels like. A whirlwind of problems circling all around me and leaving me to wonder, "God are you there?"

When you truly belong to him, during the most difficult times of your life, God is closer to you than you may think. We've gotten into this bad habit of basing our circumstances, outcomes, and victories on what we feel.

It is not about what we feel but rather what we know.

Lean not on your understanding...Pro.3:5
There is a way that seems right but it leads to death...Pro.14:12
Whoever trust in his own mind is a fool...Pro.28:26
The heart is deceitful above all things...Jer.17:9

Why is it so important to not make choices based on feelings/emotions? Because-Satan can give us false feelings/emotions. Ahhh, he is the deceiver! How many times have you made a decision based off of your feelings to only find out that probably wasn't the right decision to make? No more emotional moving. We have to stand on the WORD. While Satan can deceive he cannot change the Word of God which is in fact God!
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.-Matthew 24:35
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. -John 1:1

Believing in God is all summed up to one thing...Faith.  It is impossible to know God without Faith. Some may have called you foolish to believe in a spirit that no one can see. To believe in an eternal life that no one can prove. To live by rules from a book that has been tampered with by men throughout the years.

Roms.1:20 NLT:For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

The reality is, we don't care!
We know God and he knows us. People can believe whatever they choose to believe because WE know the Truth.
Why don't we take that same approach when we are faced with trials and tribulations? Why don't we turn to the Word? Why do we allow feelings/emotions to take control every time?

FACT: God LOVES you! This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. 1 John 4:10

When you are faced with hurts, pains, stress, tiredness, worry, sadness, doubts, etc. all these things that we have already faced or will face (most likely more than once), try to remember that with any crack the enemy can and will sneak in. When dealing with uncomfortable times, you have to refer to the one thing that does not change; the Word of God. I use to be one that could spend all day and night just crying, crying, and crying. What did that do besides make me feel worse? Crying never changed my situations or circumstances. If you must cry- then cry but afterwards, GET IN THE WORD. By this point, the enemy has already whispered in your ear... the no body loves you speech, you won't ever make it, you don't have what you need, you're a sinner, you can not be healed, God can not protect you, you are not good enough, you don't have enough money...yadda yadda yadda. It is in those moments that you can choose to make the biggest decision you will ever make. You can choose to listen to Satan and spend the next few hours, days, months, or possibly years living sad, and defeated as if God has abandoned you. Or, in that moment you can rebuke your feelings, rebuke your emotions, and say out loud to Satan: "It is written: 'Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God. And, it was God who said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So, get thee behind me Satan! For you have no authority over me! In fact, I have authority over you! You cannot harm me so take your lies and flee in the name of Jesus Christ! YOU DO NOT BELONG HERE! Get lost! Go prepare for your future resting place; the lake of fire! Greater is HE that is within me than you who are in the world! Now, Be GONE Sucker!

You do not need to feel him to know that he is with you. Who was the one who got you out of trouble, last time? Who was the one who saved you from devastation, last time? Who was the one that answered your prayers, last time? Who was the one who did not turn their back on you, last time? Who was the one who stood by you until the very end, last time? Who was the one that gave you peace in the midst of heartache, last time? Who was the one that provided finances to pay the bills, last time? Who was the one that made a way when there was no way at all, last time? Who was the one who got you through the darkest days of your life, last time?

One last question for you:
Who is the one is able, and willing to keep you from falling and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy? (Jude: 1:24)

God is with you! Though it may not feel like it, you must rely on what you KNOW, which is...But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold. Job 20:10

Praise God! HE HAS NEVER LEFT YOU and he NEVER WILL.

The details matter to God

Good Morning Love,

We have this bad habit of thinking that every door that close is the enemy. Every time we lose or lose out on something it's the devil. Every thing that does not go the way we hoped it would, it's the devil. Every time we were looked over or looked through...it's the devil.

We give the devil wayyyyy toooo much credit! Our steps are ordered by God.

Ps. 37:23: The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.

I love this scripture! This scripture is a prime example of God's love for us. He delights in EVERY detail of our lives. Every single thing. Your future matters to him. Your situation matters to him. Your circumstance matter to him. Your place of employment matter to him. Your household income matters to him. Your parenthood responsibilities matter to him. Your transportation matter to him. Your love life matter to him. Your marriage matter to him. Your children matter to him. Your church family matter to him. Your pets matter to him.Your goals matter to him. YOU MATTER TO HIM.

God is not in the business of half doing things or not doing things when it comes down to you.
He wants only the best for you and he will close every door, he will block every path, he will remove anything or anyone when doing so. Every detail matter to him. Take a look at the pictures below.

Let's say the first picture of the shirt, represents us. The first picture is an example of what we see, or what others may see when they look at our lives. The otter appearance, the whole garment. But the second picture is is an example of what God's sees. He sees the details of our lives. The inside, the makings, the bits and pieces that make the whole garment. Those fine stitches that may not matter to you or to someone else, matters to God. He not only sees every stitch of our lives, he is our personal seamstress making sure that every detail is in tact. He knows when to pleat, when to adjust, when to cut, when to hem, when to cuff, when to add a button, when to reinforce, and when to replace a piece of fabric. He knows which areas need a single stitch and which areas need a double stitch. Without the details we would fall apart.

 

While we are so busy looking at what's in front of us, God is mending the details of our lives. He is sewing and adjusting. He is tightening and loosing those threads that need to be in place so that we do not fall apart. Do not be alarmed by a sharp poke, or a tight pull. When it appears that the enemy has prevented something from happening in your favor, your God is behind the scenes working on the details!

 

Jeremiah 1:5: Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee;

Luke 12:7: But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.

HE KNOWS YOU!

Who is God?

It's not easy working with your spouse. One of the hardest things I've come to do. This morning I had a trying moment. I could feel the spirit of 'Complaining' just chilling on me!  Not too long after here comes the spirit of 'Anger' and some of his cousins...I guess they wanted to play. Well, they found out this morning that it was not time to play.  It was instead time for me to stop everything, fall to my knees, and pray!

As I prayed I begin to call out the names of God. As I called him by his many names I begin to feel power, reminding myself who in fact he really is. I begin to Praise God for being God! Needless to say that now..."I'm good."

I wanted to share this list with you.  It is one that should be printed and kept in a place that you are able to use often.  In your prayers, in your praise, in your trying moments, and in your greatest moments call on God! I say this often because it is so true..."God is EVERYTHING."

It is not easy living righteous.  Who want rules? However, you and I know rules are necessary.
With out instruction imagine the chaos.   Without structure and order imagine how our country, our states, our towns, our communities, and even our homes would be! Rules are a must.  For something to truly succeed there has to be structure and order. It is no different in our spiritual walk.  We need the Word of God.  The bible is not a book of what you cannot do.  It is a book of all you can do to live the absolute best life now and forever.


John 6: 35-38 The Message

Jesus said, “I am the Bread of Life. The person who aligns with me hungers no more and thirsts no more, ever. I have told you this explicitly because even though you have seen me in action, you don’t really believe me. Every person the Father gives me eventually comes running to me. And once that person is with me, I hold on and don’t let go.

 Because we have these promises, dear friends, let us cleanse ourselves from everything that can defile our body or spirit. And let us work toward complete holiness because we fear God.

This morning, I found myself struggling with the spirit of anger. I will go ahead and claim the victory right now in the name of Jesus Christ. His praise will EVER BE on my lips.
It's in those challenging moments that praise is necessary. Challenging moments mean God is doing something within us. 'A GOD CHANGE' is happening on the inside of us.  So while everything may seem to be against us...God is for us and if God is for us, who can be against us?
Let us Praise him for working on our behalf today. Let us Praise him because the love he has for us is far greater than anything going on in our lives.

Join me in Praising the one who gave you life today...

Psalm 145

I lift you high in praise, my God, O my King!
