The Black Card Vs. The Blood Card

We are living in a time of status, popularity, riches, luxuries, glitz, and glamour. Some would refer to this as the Finer Lifestyle.  Attached to this lifestyle comes a price that has to be paid.  A price that everyday people in their everyday bodies are paying.  The Gold, the glory, and the fame…many people dream of being a part of this very elite group. Members with a Black Card have been described as "super-affluent high net worth individuals on a continual quest for the best and most exclusive.”  The only way to obtain this card is by meeting certain criteria.

I myself do not own a Black Card however; in my back pocket I own a card that I believe trumps a Black Card.  I am a proud member of the Blood Card.  Now, you may not see this card as being a high profile card because anyone can obtain it. Meeting the criteria is simple. Yes it is true, with a Black Card you can purchase just about anything you want.  Having a Black Card can give you a sense of power.  Well, my card gives you power.  It can also purchase one very important thing that the Black Card cannot. If you happen to be someone who actually have both cards, Amen!

Let us look at the Black Card vs. the Blood Card

I don't want to be a stinky christian!

Good Morning Love,

A quick eye opener for a Monday morning...Are you a stinky Christian?
What kind of impact do you have or make in the lives of others?

If your name was brought up in conversation, what would the discussion sound like? Now, I understand that some will always have something not so nice to say because that's how they flow however, taking that into consideration, what are the majority of folks saying about you? The first thing someone should say when your name comes up in conversation is, "Oh Baya, she loves God." (Plug your name in.) Whether they are being serious or trying to be funny that doesn't matter. As long as that is what the are saying-I'm good! Following that comment should be some things that they've noticed, heard, read, or experienced for themselves, to back it up.

To some it's not a big deal, but to me, it is a very big deal. I do not want my name associated with things that are not of God when I confess that I am a child of God. I do not want my name to come up in conversation as being a trouble maker, a gossip, negative, discouraging, a hater, or worse... a phony!

The bible says in Romans 14:16 KJV-Let not then your good be evil spoken of

That's scripture. Don't let your good be evil spoken of. When others are in your presence they should see the light of God. They should smell your God scent fragrance. Your words should offer life. Your actions should show love. Your movement and poise should exemplify grace and mercy. Self control should be a necklace/chain worn around your neck daily.

What separates you from the other millions of Christians out there?
How many people are you directing to the cross?
When is the last time God used your vessel to help offer salvation to another?
I don't want to be a stinky christian! We can easily fall into a ditch that says, "I live for Christ. I do what's right for my walk. They are on their own, that's their responsibility." Of course we then add the scripture, work out your salvation with fear and trembling (phil. 2:12) to make us feel proud of what is in our hearts. That is not it, people. That is not it. (I got that from Gladiator, you know when Maximus said Marcus Whoever had a dream and that was not it...ok ok)

2 Tim. 4: NKJV-I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: 2 Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. 5 But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.

This scripture tells us to preach the word! From the moment I got saved, I have been preaching the word. I recognize that preaching and teaching are some my gifts but, I am also in love with Jesus Christ! I am so amazed at what he has done in my life. I am so astonished of how his love truly changed me, that I feel compelled to share the good news with everyone. I want others to experience this feeling of being made whole. When I accepted Christ into my heart, I felt loved. Every screw up, every generational curse, every sinful nature was subject to the blood of Jesus Christ. My life got so much better. To me, remembering how I was brought up and the things I had to endure during my childhood- love was what I needed. Jesus was handing out love and I wanted a plate! Though at the time, my outward actions did not show it-my inside was hungry for something new, something different.

There is someone you talk to every single day. Someone you work with. Someone you call friend. That someone does not know Jesus Christ. What are you doing about that? You say you know him. You say you love him. When you get around that someone, are you talking about Heaven or The Housewives?

The scripture goes on to say: convince, rebuke, exhort, have patience while teaching the gospel. It is our job to convince others that Jesus Christ is in fact real. The way you live your life should be enough to convince someone. We ought to correct when we hear false doctrine, instead we duck and hide as if we are the ones out of order. Exhort; build up, encourage. That is how someone should feel after being in your presence. Your conversations should give life, not take life. Patience is the key. Who are you to give up on someone? Who are you that you can make the comment, "I'm done with so & so." Thank God that Jesus was not done with you before he chose to hang on the cross for your mistakes! Keep in mind that some may take a little longer to come to know Christ. I remember I would make these comments about my best friend, "Ughh, she keeps calling me with this Jesus talk!" I remember when she would call, I would let the phone ring and ring. I remember saying very often, "she gets on my nerves with that!" I thank God that she rebuked that spirit operating in me. I thank God that she loved God enough to keep calling and not be offended. I thank God, that she understood how to endure affliction and continued to evangelize. Then there was that one day...there was that one time...I wanted her to call really bad. Her love for God and his ministry led me to the heart of Christ. She unctioned me to the cross. I am saved today because she cared enough to keep loving me in my unsaved days and unsaved ways.

Another key point in that scripture, be watchful in all things or be mindful in all things.  You say you love God and you say you serve God but your facebook does not show that. Your twitter page does not reveal it. This social network scene can really get folks in trouble! It is a great tool, do not get me wrong but it is also dangerous. There are millions of spirits attached to it. I can not tell you how many times I've seen someone who claim Jesus, liking an unsaved, worldly comment filled with cussing. Really? Is it that important for you to like? Why risk someone saying something evil about you? Or, how about my saved women, posting half naked pictures of yourself because you lost a pound or two? Listen, Amen. Cuddos to you, but what kind of glory does God receive from you showing your body parts to men that you are not married to?  1 Cor.14:20-But everything must be done decently and in order. Yes, share your victory but do it in a way that represents God's Kingdom. Think of your brothers in Christ who are looking for a wife. Why make them struggle in their waiting, by showing unnecessary body parts. Your excitement should offer a spirit of encouragement not a spirit of lust. As a christian, when you see these things-don't backbite but, pray.

I remember reading this joke of fb. My first intentions was a little chuckle and then I kept it moving. Later, I heard a Pastor repeat the joke. It was even funnier than I remembered. So I decide to post it on my fb page! Though it made fun of a cuss word, it referenced scripture and had a good point so I hopped on the band wagon of sharing it. Within minutes of posting, I received an email regarding taking it down. When I first read the email I quickly became defensive. My flesh said things that were out of order. "Who is someone to be telling me about my personal convictions?" Either way, the Holy Ghost rebuked me. He showed me the errors of my ways. I went back to the email and read the scriptures that were attached. This friend was protecting me; covering me and helping me to not have my good be evil spoken of.
Eph. 5:4-Let there be no filthiness nor foolish talk nor crude joking, which are out of place, but instead let there be thanksgiving.
Mat. 15:11-“Hear and understand: it is not what goes into the mouth that defiles a person, but what comes out of the mouth; this defiles a person.”
All this cussing, then saying, "Excuse my french" is out of order. The comment asks, "When did cursing become french?" How can we be down with something that God comes against? (That's in everything! Homosexuality, adultery, etc. but amen, I'll save that for another day)
Either way, cursing and christian don't mix so please stop trying to make kool aid with the two.

What I am getting at, is others should be drawn to Christ by your good works. If no one is wanting to change how they live, if no one is inspired to want to know about God, if no one is being affected positively after being in your presence, it may be time for you to do a self-examination.
You do not want to be labeled as a sometime christian. You do not want to have others whispering in dark corners about your walk with Christ. If you say you represent the Kingdom, then your life, your talk, your heart , your ways & actions should support it (not come against it).

In today's time, it's just not enough to say, "I am a christian. I love Jesus." People need to see it. That is how you allow God to use you to help others accept Christ. Let me also toss this out there, we live in a world of peer pressures, and pride. This is not to pin point or come against you. I too, have missed the mark on more than one occasion. Missing the mark is easy to do...correcting yourself, repenting, getting it right in front of others and God is what really matters.
Remember, God sees ALL things. It hurts him, when his children are behaving in a way that embarrass him. However, he takes great honor when his children get it together and set examples.

Now we can use this scripture: Phil. 2:12-Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Ecc. 3:17- "God will bring to judgment both the righteous and the wicked, for there will be a time for every activity, a time for every deed."

Your salvation should show and prove that there is a God who will come to judge. As a believer, you should be directing the world to the cross, not to hell.

Enjoy your day.

I NEED JESUS. GOD SAVE ME!

Good Morning Love,

Are you tired of life? Does it feel like you can not do a thing right? Do you lose sleep worrying about the cares of the world? Does it feel as if you do so much but accomplish so little?

I once felt that way. I was tired of my life. I woke up everyday and went through the days like a zombie. I had made so many unwise choices, so many wrong turns. I messed up so many times. My heart was broken, my dreams were shattered. I had no peace. I was a young mother who barely had a clue. I was always involved in some kind of drama. I desperately needed a new start. A second chance...

I remember this one night I had a dream. In my dream I was in love with this nasty burned up man. I mean really, I can still remember it very clear. He was black in color from being burned. Smoke came off of his skin. His face looked like a burnt skeleton. No lips, no mouth, just bone structure and teeth. His body was peeling big burnt ashy flakes. Disgusting. He had no clothes on. He looked like one of those creatures from the movie, I am Legend (if you ever seen it) except he was completely toasted. He was so nasty and gross but, the real gross part was, I was in love with him. I remember sleeping with him. He was on top of me and though I was so uncomfortable, I just laid there. It was as if I had no other choice. He was apart of my life and because I loved him, I just let it happen.

When I woke up, I knew I had to make some changes in my life.
I wanted Christ, for real this time...I wanted to be Saved by Jesus Christ.
For me, the term "being saved" was more than a christian term. I really needed God to rescue me from my life. I really needed him to save me from the pact that I had made with the devil.

John 14:6 NLT- “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.

Romans 10:8-11-13 NIV-“The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,”that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: 9 If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

When I accepted Jesus Christ into my heart, when I confessed with my mouth that I believed and wanted him to be Lord over my life. When I repented for my sins and all the evil that I had done up until that point in my life, I felt a RISE within. I really can't articulate it but the Message version of Romans 10 helps:

It’s the word of faith that welcomes God to go to work and set things right for us. This is the core of our preaching. Say the welcoming word to God—“Jesus is my Master”—embracing, body and soul, God’s work of doing in us what he did in raising Jesus from the dead. That’s it. You’re not “doing” anything; you’re simply calling out to God, trusting him to do it for you. That’s salvation. With your whole being you embrace God setting things right, and then you say it, right out loud: “God has set everything right between him and me!”

11-13 Scripture reassures us, “No one who trusts God like this—heart and soul—will ever regret it.” It’s exactly the same no matter what a person’s religious background may be: the same God for all of us, acting the same incredibly generous way to everyone who calls out for help. “Everyone who calls, ‘Help, God!’ gets help.”

Acts 3:19 NLT-Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.

It was as if I rose from the dead. I had hope, which was something that I gave up years ago. Something within me said, "Welcome to your new life." It felt good to know that I still had a chance to live. Mannn, I took off running! I'm still running!

Right after accepting Christ into my life, I got baptised by water. Baptism by water was the act of showing family & friends that I had made a decision to follow Christ. It was an outward presentation to give testament for my decision of being forgiven/cleansed/washed by God. I like to say, "It was my faith in action." It was a public announcement to the world, to hold me accountable. Being baptised in water expressed my repentance.

Gal. 3:27 NLT- 27 And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on Christ, like putting on new clothes.

Matthew 3:11-I baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.

Then shortly after that, I wanted more of God! There were a series of events including joining a church, removing things attached to my past out of my life, reading my word, and praying-just to name a few. But, I still desired more. I was so excited about the second chance I received and I wanted to feel God. I wanted him to touch me. It was right after I hosted my first women's conference that I was baptised with his spirit. The christian after party was at my house...lol. I remember going into the bathroom. I started praying. I was crying and praising him at the same time. I begin to worship him forgetting all about the women in my home, forgetting about the conference, forgetting about everything-it was just about him & I. I begged him to touch me. In my mind, I was thinking "He's God, he will stretch his hand from heaven and rub my head to show me how real he really is." I stayed in that bathroom for a while, begging God to touch me. I received the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4) in my tiny bathroom. I really did not realize what had happened but, I knew God had touched me.

Getting baptised by water or receiving the gift of speaking another language did not save me. Being baptised when I was a baby did not save me. Going to church every Sunday did not save me. Reading the bible did not save me. Hosting women conference's did not save me. Repenting everyday did not save me. What saved me was accepting Jesus Christ into my heart, believing that he died for my sins and confessing out loud to him that he is Lord. That is what saved me.

Acts 2:21-But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

I got SAVED over 10 years ago and it still feel so good! I pray that if you do not know Christ or if you have not accepted him into your heart, you do so.  The world is so demonic, make no mistake about it-WE NEED JESUS CHRIST! You may find yourself beat up from life or just needing a fresh new start. You can pray this prayer right now and be saved! How about that!

Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. But I believe that you died upon the cross for me. That you shed your precious blood for the forgiveness of my sin. And I believe that on the third day, you rose from the dead, and went to Heaven to prepare a place for me. I accept you now as my Savior, my Lord, my God, my friend. Come into my heart, Lord Jesus, and set me free from my sin. And, because you are my Savior, Jesus, "I shall not die, but have everlasting life".

Now, YOU ARE SAVED!!!!! HALLELUJAH! Welcome to the camp! You can yell:
S-ALVATION
A-CCEPTED
V-OCALLY
E-NDED
D-AMNATION!

Oh yeah!Oh yeah! Oh yeah! I am available if you want to talk or pray or whatever (email me for my #)! We can discuss what's next!

Have a great day!
Baya...that Godly Diva.

The Longest Shortcut Ever!

Good Morning Love,

Why would I take the long route if there is a shorter route? Duh! That would be the dumbest thing to do, especially when my time is so important. Have you ever taken the longest shortcut ever? I know I have. Shortcuts are always short-sighted. They distract you from getting where you need to go. They distract you from God's promises and what he wants to do in your life.

Galatians 5:22-23 NKJV- But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

God will often put us in situations so that we can become mature in our faith. God knows when we take short cuts, we miss out on the opportunity to walk in the fruits of the spirit.

Longsuffering says: "I can do it. I won't give up."
Faithfulness says: "He has brought me this far, he won't give up on me."
Self Control says: ""Whatever it takes God. Your will not mine."
When the fire of life is turned up, sometimes it's just too hard to press. It seems impossible to endure. You've done the best you could and now you're just ready for things to work in your favor. You have heard enough encouragement. You have read enough scriptures. You have prayed, fasted, and waited. You have been at it so long, pressing, trying to wait on God but can't help to think that it was all for nothing.  Let's look at Abraham and Sarah who too, grew weary waiting on God.

God promised Sarah that she would have a baby. At 80-years-old, she made up her mind that God was taking too long and that she was getting too old to conceive. Imagine how she must have felt, not being able to give her husband a child especially knowing he desired one. Each day that passed she most likely felt more and more like a failure, a let down. Being a women, I would not be surprised if she felt unattractive, insecure, insufficient, etc. One thing is for sure, she became desperate. She told Abraham (her husband) to get her maid pregnant. Hagar, her maid was Egyptian and it was against their culture for men to be with Egyptian women or pagan women. Sarah had a plan; later for God's plan, forget his promise. I bet she thought she might have been saving her marriage. I mean after all, aren't we supposed to do whatever it takes to keep our marriage in tact? She decided to build her family through her slave. Sarah gave Hagar to her husband to be his wife. She requested and was ok with her man participating in adultery. Poor Abraham, understanding the feelings of his wife and what she was going through, weighed on his heart. Or, perhaps it was his own doubt, his own selfishness of wanting a child, his own tiredness of waiting on God. The fact that she was young and attractive must not have played a part. Nooo, not at all. From the moment Hagar conceived, waiting for God's promise wasn't that bad considering all the problems that they now had to face. Their shortcut caused problems that lasted for generations. (Read about it in Genesis 16)

The dangers of not being patient:

SHORT CUTS WILL MAKE YOU LOSE FOCUS
    • You'll find yourself acting out of character just to get your way. You become desperate which cause you to do silly things that you would never normally do. The spirit of desperation will cause you to become so distracted from God's plans. What you are feeling is more important than God's promise. It opens the door to "there's no other way."
SHORT CUTS WILL STIR UP PROBLEMS IN YOUR RELATIONSHIPS
    • You'll find yourself hurting people you love by doing foolish things. Getting people involved with your mess. Going against your beliefs and practices just so that you can have your way. Your greatest relationship is with God. Imagine if God gave up on you? How many times have you told God, "God-I won't do it anymore, if you please help me. I promise," knowing it won't be too long before you do it again. Why is it so hard for you to wait on God, when He always waits on you?
SHORT CUTS USUALLY LEAD TO MORE PROBLEMS IN THE END
    • Sometimes in the midst of waiting we get sidetracked on what we are waiting for. I bet Sarah thought, God helps those who helps themselves. I know many Christians who use the scriptures out of context to do what they really want to do. If God has spoken, that is the final word. The moment we try to do things our way, it spells disaster! Find those scriptures that aligns with what God has promised. Do not twist his word to do things your way. You'll end up with: Mo' problems, Mo' problems and Mo' problems. Growing impatient always lead to you taking the longest shortcut ever! Save yourself the time, wait and trust God. If he said it, HE WILL DO IT.
Think back to a time when you waited long enough. What short cuts did you take? Where did it lead you and what did it cost you? The next time you feel frustrated in waiting, remember this scripture: James 1:4 NIV- Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.

Numbers 23:19 KJV-God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

Genesis 28:15 NLT- What's more, I am with you, and I will protect you wherever you go... I will not leave you until I have finished giving you everything I have promised you."

Enjoy your day,

Astrology is not GOD!

Good Morning Love,
In my mind, I am singing..."Oops I did it again..." lol
Yes, I am going to address astrology and yes, it is a form of sin.

People look to the stars for the answers instead of the one who created the stars. -Dana Lewis (my bff)  When Dana made this comment it really bore witness with my spirit. I know many Christians who love God but have not been delivered from Horoscopes, Signs, Fortune Tellers, etc.  I see it all over Face Book...your daily horoscope says...yadda yadda yadda.  Some will say, I don't believe in it, I just think it's fun to read. Since when is it fun to entertain something that God is against?  How about when someone ask you, "What's your sign?" We have all done it. There was a point in time when I use to try to match my zodiac sign to the most compatible zodiac sign, in hopes of finding my soul mate. Ahhhhh, the foolish things we do. If asked today, "what is your sign?" My answer would be, "The Cross."

FACT: God created the sun, moon, and stars to be used as “signs” and “seasons.” Meaning that they are given to us to measure time and to know day from night.

Gen.1:14 NLT-Then God said, “Let lights appear in the sky to separate the day from the night. Let them be signs to mark the seasons, days, and years. 15 Let these lights in the sky shine down on the earth.” And that is what happened. 16 God made two great lights—the larger one to govern the day, and the smaller one to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set these lights in the sky to light the earth, 18 to govern the day and night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.

In Genesis 15:5, the stars were a reminder to Abraham of God's promise.
In Isaiah 13:9-10, Joel 3:15, and Matthew 26:64 we’re told of astronomical events that will accompany the final judgment of the earth. But, there is no where in the bible that mention the sun, moon, or stars holding any hidden meanings. Astrology is a false belief that wisdom come from the stars. The truth is, our wisdom comes from God alone. James 1:5 KJV-If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.

Wisdom has been in battle with astrology for quite some time. Wisdom has always and will always hold the crown. Did you know that the average annual income of a gypsy fortune teller is about $36,000 per year. Gypsy fortune tellers can earn more depending on their fame and where they put on their shows. People pay for the answers, for the mysteries of life, when God gives it to us for free!

Daniel 2 NLT-One night during the second year of his reign, Nebuchadnezzar had such disturbing dreams that he couldn’t sleep. 2 He called in his magicians, enchanters, sorcerers, and astrologers, and he demanded that they tell him what he had dreamed. 6 if you tell me what I dreamed and what the dream means, I will give you many wonderful gifts and honors. 10 The astrologers replied to the king, “No one on earth can tell the king his dream! No one except the gods can tell you your dream, and they do not live here among people.”19 That night the secret was revealed to Daniel in a vision. Then Daniel praised the God of heaven.26 The king said to Daniel (also known as Belteshazzar), “Is this true? Can you tell me what my dream was and what it means?”27 Daniel replied, “There are no wise men, enchanters, magicians, or fortune-tellers who can reveal the king’s secret. 28 But there is a God in heaven who reveals secrets, and he has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in the future.  29 He who reveals secrets has shown you what is going to happen. 30 And it is not because I am wiser than anyone else that I know the secret of your dream, but because God wants you to understand what was in your heart.

God gives us instructions concerning witchcraft, fortune telling, card readings, horoscopes, etc.:

Duet.4:19 MSG-And also carefully guard yourselves so that you don’t look up into the skies and see the sun and moon and stars, all the constellations of the skies, and be seduced into worshiping and serving them.

Duet.18:13 MSG-Don’t practice divination, sorcery, fortunetelling, witchery, casting spells, holding séances, or channeling with the dead. People who do these things are an abomination to God.

Jeremiah 10:2-3 NET-Do not be in awe of signs that occur in the sky even though the nations hold them in awe3 For the religion of these people is worthless.

God is serious about his people coming to ONLY him for the answers:

1st Chron.10:13-14MSG-Saul died in disobedience, disobedient to God. He didn’t obey God’s words. Instead of praying, he went to a witch to seek guidance. Because he didn’t go to God for help, God took his life and turned the kingdom over to David son of Jesse.

Well, what about Prophets? Hmmm, so glad you asked.

Amos 3:7 KJV-but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

Duet. 18:20-22 MSG-20 “But any prophet who fakes it, who claims to speak in my name something I haven’t commanded him to say, or speaks in the name of other gods, that prophet must die.”21-22 You may be wondering among yourselves, “How can we tell the difference, whether it was God who spoke or not?” Here’s how: If what the prophet spoke in God’s name doesn’t happen, then obviously God wasn’t behind it; the prophet made it up. Forget about him.

So what does this equal? God is not in astrology. He condemns those who entertain and practice it. If you have found yourself dabbling in it, repent and walk in truth. Trust God with your future and follow Him in obedience to His word.

Psalm 19:1-The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
1 Cor. 2:9-But as it is written, "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined the things that God has prepared...

Doctor God treats those with no insurance

Good Morning Love,

Why is it that we only call out to God when we are in critical condition? We call out to him when we are in the intensive care unit, when surgery need to be done. It's funny though because up until the point of being rushed to the hospital on a stretcher bed we never truly called on him.

Sin is a silent killer to our bodies, minds, and spirits. Sin will lead us to the intensive care unit every single time. Every one in this world has been diagnosed with sin. There is only one specialist to treat this deadly disease. There is only one that can perform open heart surgery in just a matter of minutes. You do not need a HMO, a PPO, Cigna, Aetna, Blue Cross-Blue Shield, or even Medicaid.  He operates on those in and out of network and the deductible has already been paid for you in advance.  When Jesus Christ hung on the cross, your deductible was paid.  By the Blood of Jesus Christ, you can now see the only Doctor who is truly able to SAVE your life.

I have seen the specialist more than once.  There was a point of my life where I was rushed in and out of the emergency room so much, I thought the Specialist would refuse me. I often had the same symptoms and was treated for the same disease over and over again.  Dr. God would get me feeling back to normal, even better than normal, and in just a few weeks I would find myself being admitted back into the emergency room.  The same disease; the same sin, causing me into situations that led to the intensive care unit.  The doctor never did judge me but each time, I felt so embarrassed. I remember one day after messing up again, I couldn't call 911. I was so broken. I was so beat down. My heart was tore up from hurt, pain, and depression. The red and white blood cells wrestled within my body for my life. My body so weak from all the alcohol, the weed, the pills, the black and milds, the unhealthy sex, and other toxins. I was a slave to sin and my master was calling me home.  No matter how many times I tried to escape, my master's grip always brought me back to his courts.

Roms. 6:19 NLT- Because of the weakness of your human nature, I am using the illustration of slavery to help you understand all this. Previously, you let yourselves be slaves to impurity and lawlessness, which led ever deeper into sin.

As I laid, helpless drowning in my own blood thinking my life was over...the Doctor came to me. He picked me up. I was so embarrassed. I smelled so bad. My breath reeked of vomit. My hair was disgusting and dirty. My breast was exposed because of the cut low shirt I had on. I'm sure my private area was also visible due to the little mini I thought was cute enough to wear. My face was swollen from crying. My heart was broken. My body was scarred and bruised from life. My mind was tattooed with, "YOU WILL NEVER MAKE IT. YOU WILL NEVER ESCAPE FROM ME." It was easier for me to just blackout rather than focus on what I had made of my life.

Roms. 6:20-21 NLT When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the obligation to do right. 21 And what was the result? You are now ashamed of the things you used to do, things that end in eternal doom.

That was the longest time that I have ever spent in the intensive care unit. The Healer, restored all of my organs. He sewed up my heart.Cleansed and removed all the toxins and wastes from my body. He removed the devil's tattoos that became permanent ink on my brain of never amounting to anything.  God prescribed a medication that I am still currently on; His Word. I will forever be an outpatient.  He wants to keep an eye on me. In his thoughtfulness, because he understands that when you have been a slave you sometimes go back to doing those things that you were once slaved to, he has assigned to me, my very own home health aid; The Holy Spirit. When it was time for me to be released, I found this little note on my bed...

Roms.6:22-23 NLT- But now you are free from the power of sin and have become slaves of God. Now you do those things that lead to holiness and result in eternal life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.

Jesus Christ purchased my freedom with his blood. When I was dying from my own stupidity, Jesus Christ wagered with God (Luke 22:42) to take on my low down dirty conditions, my foolishness, my lies, all of my scandals, so that I may be given a new shot at this thing called Life. Someone who I did not even know, did this for me.

Gal. 5:1-For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.

Roms. 6:15-16 NLT-Well then, since God’s grace has set us free from the law, does that mean we can go on sinning? Of course not! 16 Don’t you realize that you become the slave of whatever you choose to obey? You can be a slave to sin, which leads to death, or you can choose to obey God, which leads to righteous living.

God saved my life. I now work with him in the intensive care unit. Though he doesn't need my help, he likes having me close and I love being by his side. Throughout my years of working with him, I've seen so many horrible conditions; rapes, stabbings, incurable sickness, open wounds, miscarriages, etc. but I've also seen and witnessed that God's power is in the Blood! There was never a time that he could not handle a situation. He always left the same note on their bed, the one he once left me.
